This client wanted to be off grid but feel like they were grid tied while retaining all of the perks of living in a luxury home. No small ask when you are building 6700 square feet of custom home and 4800 square feet of outbuilding.

The design aesthetic was our signature style: Rustic Modern. High end cabinetry, granite with copper veins running through it, glass shower enclosures, the finest tile all blended together tastefully with rough sawn slab stair treads, exposed steel posts and beams and reclaimed barnwood feature walls and ceilings. We are thrilled with how this one turned out.

Heat was delivered from an oversized wood-fired boiler and domestic sidearm driving in-floor radiant heat. Automation was added to facilitate convenience. The real cornerstone of this project was adding a powerplant that could make this luxury home feel like it was tied to the electric grid. We solved this with a combination of off grid solar & 2 propane fueled generators backing the system up.
